About Rebecca:

I began playing the piano when I was 4 years old, and I continued my music education through college with a piano scholarship to Cornell College. However, I consider myself to be more of a teacher than a musician: I have been teaching piano lessons to students of all ages for 12 years in Illinois; I have also taught ESL in Japan, Sunday School, In the classroom as a substitute teachers, and coordinated children's programs at a library. I am always striving to make sure that my students enjoy their experience in their lessons, because I know how much that will impact their feelings towards the piano and music in general. I am very proud of the relationships that I have built with my students that I have known for years in Illinois and I am excited to form great relationships with my new students in Minnesota
